Education & Experience

Gina is a Wells County native and 2013 graduate of Bluffton High School. She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Huntington University with a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism and public relations. While at Huntington, Gina played four seasons on the women’s basketball team. She also served as a Resident Assistant, Sports Editor of The Huntingtonian, and Public Relations Officer of the Alpha Chi Honor Society. She was listed on the Dean’s List and HU Athletic Honor Roll, earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete and NAIA Champion of Character honors, was named the Communications Department Outstanding Scholar and was a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. Gina pursued her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana. During law school, Gina served as an associate editor of the Indiana Law Review, participated in the Stanton Intramural Moot Court competition and Wrongful Convictions Clinic, and was a member of the Dean’s Tutorial Society and the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. She also interned with the Honorable Kenton Kiracofe in the Wells County Circuit Court, as well as the Huntington County Prosecutor’s Office, and worked as a summer associate at a civil firm in Fort Wayne.
