Education & Experience

Josh is a Jay County Native. He was a ten-year 4-H member and capped off his 4-H career as the Supreme Achiever. Josh also pitched for the Jay County Patriot Baseball Team. After graduating high school, Josh went on to attended Manchester College, where he continued his academic and baseball careers. While at Manchester, Josh was President of Residence Hall association, Captain of the Spartan Baseball Team, and member of the Mock Trial Team.

Josh pursued his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana. He was an editor of Valparaiso Law Review. While pursuing his degree, he clerked with Judge Max Ludy of the Jay County Superior Court and Judge Kathleen Lang of LaPorte County Superior Court. Josh also interned with the U.S. Attorney’s office. Josh was admitted into the Indiana Bar Association in October of 2013.

Since being admitted into the Indiana Bar, Josh worked for a short time in Muncie, Indiana before taking a position with Hunt Suedhoff Kalamaros in Fort Wayne. Josh was with Hunt Suedhoff Kalamaros for nearly five years. During that time, Josh’s practice was primarily focused on civil defense. Josh has had the opportunity to practice in many courts across the state for a wide variety of cases, including both state and federal matters.
