Education & Experience

Michael grew up in Kokomo, IN, graduating from Taylor High School in 2006, before spending most of his adult life in Lafayette, IN. Michael attended Ball State University, graduating with degrees in Political Science and Economics in 2010, and Indiana Wesleyan University, where he earned a Masters in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting in 2014.

After graduating in December of 2024 from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Michael joined the Bluffton office of Sprunger & Sprunger as an attorney in March of 2025, specializing in the areas of family law, criminal law, bankruptcy, collections, and immigration.

Prior to joining Sprunger & Sprunger, Michael spent 14 years in the automobile manufacturing industry, including roles as a production associate, manufacturing group leader, and parts planning coordinator at Subaru of Indiana Automotive. In his most recent role, he oversaw creation of the plant’s vehicle data systems, and was responsible for parts ordering for all chassis, interior, and electrical components used in the manufacturing process.

Michael previously served in the United State Army as a non-commissioned officer in the Signal Corps, graduating first in his class and becoming his battalion’s go-to specialist for operations of the Blue Force Tracker GPS system.

Michael serves the Wells County community as a voting member of the Poneto Town Board and as a voting member of the Wells County Area Planning Commission. In his free time, he closely follows sports, is a big student of history and political events, and enjoys serving his church community as an audio engineer. He is married and lives with his wife and three children.
