Education & Experience

Jim opened his first law office in Fort Wayne in 1968.  His focus for these many years has always been on serving his clients in the myriad of legal issues that confront them throughout their lives, giving them top quality legal assistance. As with anyone who gives good service, he has maintained his client base from it’s beginnings.  As a result of this loyalty to his clients, Jim’s legal practice has evolved with the needs of the community he serves.

Jim’s interest in Elder Law began when his own mother required Long Term Planning. This personal healthcare crisis within Jim’s own family began his work in Elder Law that still remains today.  As Jim’s clientele ages along with him, his interest and education naturally progresses into Estate and Medicaid Planning.
