We have been discussing for a few years the addition of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to assist with the non-legal implementation of processes, business development, and efficient administration of our companies. But we needed someone who could bring professional and substantial business experience, an ability to lead a professional office, and most important, someone with whom Allison and I can trust and hold similar world outlook.

After a long search, I am happy to announce that we have found this person: Mitch Sprunger.

As you know, Mitch is also my Dad. To many, he has already been a part of the team the last 8 years of this journey. The picture below is at our graduation from law school almost 9 years ago, when this adventure really began. He was there then and is here now. There is no person who will ever support Allison and I, and believe in what we are building than him. Both personally and professionally, I am beyond excited for this chapter.

He will be joining us on December 1 after retiring from 32 years of business experience with Philips Healthcare. At his retirement, he was Philip’s Senior Program Manager for Life and Power Solutions over North America.

As such, he managed a $130 million budget and was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of these programs across Philip’s North American operations. Philips is a global company, employing an approximately 80,000 person workforce.

We are excited to see our growth, development, and professional posture accelerate with this transition. His professionalism, business experience, and ability to help me overcome the time constraints I face to implement our strategic goals, will be a tremendous addition to our team.

Please join me in welcoming this very special and crucial addition to our team, my dad, Mitch Sprunger.
